sheer delight.

i am obsessed with all things sheer. it's sexy not slutty, cheeky not cheap; and a sheer blouse adds a whole new layer of fun to any outfit. most high street stores have jumped on this see-through bandwagon but none have got is as right as american apparel. that see through jumpsuit? iwant!iwant!iwant!

maximum height. no drama.

a high heel that is finally comfortable...could it be? say hello to the flatform; a platform heel at a flat level. the feet's of prada, chanel and viv westwood were all adorned with this new style making it the shoe for summer. make your legs look longer with no pain? i'm in.

big up!

just wanted to say a mahoosive thank you to martin for designing my logo. go forth and check his blog for some quirky quirky stuff!

wear your heart on your sleeve and your teddies on your feet.

if i was less gypsy and more urban, i'd don these for sure. because why the hell shouldn't i wear a big fat pink teddy bear on my trainers?

pastel paradise.

it's spring time and the colour pallet for this season? pastels; breaking news i'm sure you'll agree. however, what's different this time is the sillhouette. altough the bohemian look is applauded for its loose and flowing styles, this spring it's time to toughen up.

think less floaty and floraly but more structured and rigid. sheer, pastel blouses buttoned to the top give the usually very feminine pallet an edge. wearing top to bottom of the same shade adds a new dimension to the look, making it seem more fresh and straight off the catwalk as opposed to dated and 'seen it all before'. look to dion lee, upcoming australian designer for inspiration (designs pictured above in the all baby blue outfit).

"i'm really pale...but i've got dark skin" gregg.

heads up on lfw.

if LFW designers had it there way, this summer would see the dahlings of britain sporting parrots and huge black pvc tyres on none other than the top of their heads. that's right, once again, designers pushed fashion boundaries by producing an array of eccentric headwear, making it a top trend for the upcoming season.

now don't get me wrong, it's important to inject some fun and originality into your style so long as it works and looks effortless. but charles mindu - really? that's not fashion mate, that's just essentially a gas mask with a horses mane attached. think i'll stick to my floppy hats this summer instead...
