

it's spring time and the colour pallet for this season? pastels; breaking news i'm sure you'll agree. however, what's different this time is the sillhouette. altough the bohemian look is applauded for its loose and flowing styles, this spring it's time to toughen up.
think less floaty and floraly but more structured and rigid. sheer, pastel blouses buttoned to the top give the usually very feminine pallet an edge. wearing top to bottom of the same shade adds a new dimension to the look, making it seem more fresh and straight off the catwalk as opposed to dated and 'seen it all before'. look to dion lee, upcoming australian designer for inspiration (designs pictured above in the all baby blue outfit).
